Golf Instruction
Meet our Golf Pro: Bill Franklin
Bill has 38 years experience as a Golf Pro, and served as the head Pro at Sparta’s course for 23 years before coming to Southern Hills in 2005. He has won the title of Tennessee PGA Player of the year twice. Bill also shot a 68 to win the Senior Division of the 2007 Ironwood Classic.
He believes in the K.I.S.S. method of keeping it simple and has instructed both youth and adults. So whether you are a beginner looking for the proper fundamentals, or a more advanced player needing to be “fine-tuned”, Bill will be able to show you how to improve your skill level for more enjoyable golf!
Membership
Though our country club is open to the public, we still offer membership to individuals and families. Select a single membership, single +guest or a family membership to meet your needs. Membership comes with a number of exciting benefits, such as access to golf instruction in Cookeville, TN. Enrollment opens in spring every year, with discounts available before March 1st.
The 19th Hole
When you’re done shooting a round, stop on by the 19th Hole before you head home! The 19th Hole is our short-order bar and grill, bringing you a full menu of delicious entrées and drink options. It’s a great place to celebrate your new personal record or decompress after a lackluster one.
